Release notes
Morie IDE 0.46.1 (beta) — opens your data folder again
Released 2026-10-07 from 0534c0ad. Since 0.46.0.
What it is
A hotfix. 0.46.0 opened a new, empty data folder (where Morie keeps its database and settings) instead of yours, so it showed the setup screen and none of your projects. 0.46.1 opens the right one. Everyone on 0.46.0 should take it. Nothing else changed.
New
Nothing.
Changed
Nothing.
Fixed
- Morie opens
~/Library/Application Support/morie-ideagain, as every build before 0.46.0 did. 0.46.0 looked in~/Library/Application Support/Morie.
Known problems
- Signed with the local test identity and not notarized, like 0.46.0. macOS asks before it opens.
- Anything set up in 0.46.0's empty folder stays there. 0.46.1 does not read it.
Upgrading
- Your data: untouched. 0.46.0 never wrote to
morie-ide; it only looked somewhere else. - At first launch: your projects and tickets, as you left them in build 45 or earlier. No setup screen.
- By hand: open it once through System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, as with every test build.
- The
~/Library/Application Support/Moriefolder 0.46.0 made can stay. Morie ignores it.
